Frank Zappa once said, "The mind is like a parachute. It works best when it's open."

To which I think it might be worth adding, "But only if you are hurtling towards the ground at a hundred miles per hour. If not, best keep it packed away until needed."

An open parachute makes getting into lifts and limousines a bit of a pain.

Well, our slumber and dreaming is over. Time to WAKE UP!
